Facebook Test Users

The new test user creation facility in Facebook is quite neat and pretty straightforward. Although it is in need of some automation, especially when it comes to setting up relationships, uploading posts and pictures etc., it is way easier to handle than the old one. What you had to do until now was manually create a “normal” Facebook user, then log on as the new user and navigate to a secret web site that would then convert the account into a test account. Quite clumsy, and it needed some cleanup.

Now, what’s been bothering me: even after creating a few dozen accounts, and scripting the process to create many more, all my new users are girls. Is this some weird bias, or is it meant to keep developers in good spirit? Or is it just me?
